BTK President Dr. Ömer Fatih Sayan received Dunja Mijatović, the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, and her accompanying delegation.
In the meeting held with the OSCE delegation, Deputy Institution President Dr. Ahmet Kılıç, Head of the International Relations Department Selamettin Ermiş, and relevant BTK experts were present.
In the meeting, views were exchanged on internet regulations in our country and around the world. It was emphasized that global internet actors also bear important roles in combating illegal content in the internet environment, and that prominent international organizations like the OSCE need to remind these actors of their responsibilities, particularly regarding countries' national security matters. Additionally, discussions and cooperation were focused on protecting children in the online environment and the safe use of the internet.
