The White Paper, which includes our country's priorities, strategies, and roadmaps for 5G and beyond, has been prepared by the 5GTR Forum Working Groups. This study, one of the important outputs of the 5GTR Forum, provides a perspective on the current status of 5G technologies and studies worldwide and in our country, 5G architecture forecasts, and the potential technology building blocks for 5G requirements. The White Paper aims to serve as a guide for 5G and beyond strategies and roadmaps in line with our country's goal of being one of the countries producing these technologies.
The White Paper addresses studies that can and should be conducted in Turkey regarding the core network layer and physical network layer that form the 5G communication network, as well as services and applications that will operate on these layers. In addition to the requirements related to 5G and beyond technologies, and taking into account Turkey's technological capabilities in this field, the White Paper includes suggestions and roadmaps on how the 5G ecosystem in our country can be expanded and made efficient for developable software, hardware, services, and applications. The content of the White Paper was created with the contributions of public institutions and organizations, operators, technology companies and supplier firms, NGOs, private sector representatives, and academics participating in the 5GTR Forum Core Network, Physical Network, Service and Application, and Standardization Working Groups.
